BIGLITTLE Theatre School is very excited to be teaming up with West End star, Albey Brookes to bring students aged 12-19 who love performing and are interested in the performing arts the opportunity to train with West End stars, here in Bournemouth.
Albey has joined forces with the school to deliver ten exciting and truly individual one-day performing arts masterclasses over the summer, here in Bournemouth.
Each workshop will be run either by Albey himself or by one of his West End friends giving students an amazing opportunity to work directly with creatives who are currently working in the business.
Guest practitioners for these masterclass sessions include Jamal Crawford, Llandyll Gove, Adam Denman, Jessica Fossey, BIGLITTLE alumni Inez Budd, Filippo Coffano, Lauren Hall and Emily Goodenough. Albey himself will also be heading up three days of masterclasses.
Albey says “I’m super excited about this summer project, it will give the students invaluable experience to learn and immersive themselves with fun, challenging and exciting masterclasses. I’ve got a great bunch of ridiculously talented, vastly experienced friends together, we are all buzzing to dish these workshops out. I know the students aren’t going to want the two weeks to be over!”
The workshops run Monday - Friday, from 1st August through until Friday 12th and are open for students ages 12-19.
The programme is listed below - a single day's workshop costs £40, and if you book four or more workshop days across the fortnight then you receive a 20% discount.
Also - if you book for a "musical in a week" summer school place on either "KIPPS" or "13" you are entitled to HALF PRICE "Albey & Friends" workshops in the other week. There are places still available on "KIPPS" in week one, but "13" in week two is almost sold out!)#
(**Please note that if you are eligible for both discounts (i.e. in a musical and booking four or more workshops, the discount will need to be adjusted manually by the office after you've registered).
These workshops are open to all students aged 12-19 and also are open to students from outside BIGLITTLE too!

The workshops are held at Bournemouth School for Girls, (entrance via the East Way gate), and will run 9.45am - 4.30pm daily (except for the "double bill" on Tuesday 9th August see below)
