BIGLITTLE Theatre School offers private, one-to-one vocal coaching to students from age 8 upwards.
Lessons cost £20 per half hour and are bookable only on a termly basis of either 5 or 10 lessons per term with half a term’s notice required to stop. Due to the popularity of these lessons and constant demand priority is given, particularly at the Intermediate and Senior level to those students who are members of one of our Youth Theatre companies.
In 1-1 lessons students will learn techniques behind breathing and support, vowel placement, diction, and vocal health as well as covering a wide variety of age and ability-appropriate repertoire. The sessions also cover performance and acting through song techniques, and overall provide a thorough technical grounding in singing for the aspiring young performer.
Whilst these lessons are available only to students aged 11+ they are open to all abilities, and it is not uncommon for absolute beginners, and those with little or no formal training to see huge development and improvement through these lessons. Alongside the lessons, students can also opt to take LAMDA musical theatre solo performance graded examinations.
