Our Musical In A Week courses, with unique projects for each age range, have become incredibly popular and give the students an amazing opportunity to work on a full performance of a complete show in just one week!

OPEN TO ALL STUDENTS
YOU DON’T HAVE TO TRAIN WITH US REGULARLY!

Each course is carefully tailored to the specific age range to give students a fabulous experience - for the primary-age children, the focus is very much on summer holiday fun in a creative and professional environment, with a dedicated team of creative practitioners and pastoral care staff working together to give all the children a fantastic week, culminating in a very special performance of the musical to parents & families.

For students at the intermediate level (year 7-10), the exciting focus shifts to look more at the professional process of putting on a show and working as a company of young actors to build skills, confidence and make new friends in a dynamic and supportive environment. Whilst for those students in year 10 and above wishing to join the senior musical, this fast-paced and demanding week gives the cast a platform to combine their skills and delve deeper into the professional process.

EXPERIENCED & INSPIRING TEACHERS
SUPPORTIVE PASTORAL CARE

All our summer schools are staffed by experienced professional teaching and creative staff - and every project has a separate team of Director, Choreographer and Musical Director, working alongside safeguarding trained pastoral care and support staff to ensure the wellbeing of every child is front and centre.

In addition to the Musical In A Week courses, we also run a series of one-day West End Workshops with guest teachers bringing their expertise directly from current and recent West End shows and national tours to give the students a chance to experience what it’s like to be in the show!

Let's create a whole musical in just 6 days - an exciting musical theatre summer school for students in year 7 to year 10!

The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Work like professionals for a full week with a top director, choreographer, and musical director, and you'll be amazed at what you can achieve in such a short time. This is a great opportunity to develop existing performing skills in the context of a musical, gain confidence, and make new friends

Note: this project is not suitable for beginners.

Prepare for the most exciting musical theatre summer school you'll ever experience! Our senior musical project is designed for students in Year 10 and above, and in just one week, you'll create a whole musical and perform the entire show on the Saturday evening.

"The Clockmaker's Daughter," a brand new musical by Michael Webborn and Daniel Finn, unfolds in the late 19th century in the town of Spindlewood, centered around a clockmaker, Abraham Reed, who, in his grief over his daughter's death, creates Constance, a clockwork girl so lifelike she can think. Given one rule to never reveal herself to the world, Constance's curiosity leads her to break this command, inadvertently causing a stir in the town and setting off a chain of events that sees her integrating into society against her creator's wishes

Directed by Sam Spencer-Lane, if you already have a solid musical theatre skill set and want to develop further in an intensive professional environment, this project is perfect for you.

Note: this project is not suitable for beginners.
