Limited Space! BIGLITTLE Parents - Priority SUMMER SCHOOL booking before Monday 13th July

We are very pleased to announce that due to updated Government guidance, we are “Back In The Room” with our revised summer school programme! Sadly, due to COVID-19, our “Annie” and “Legally Blonde” projects have been postponed until next year, however, we are able to offer a revised programme, albeit with some restrictions, that fits well within the government guidelines.

Back In The Room” is a one week (five day) summer school for four separate age groups, with an emphasis on enabling the students to find their performing feet again after lockdown, developing skills and building confidence in performing and as young people.  As you may be aware there is still a restriction in place on singing, so we will be taking the opportunity to focus on other areas, as well as proving there’s more to singing a song than singing!

The course will run for the week of Monday August 3rd - Friday August 7th and will be held at Bournemouth School for Girls. (sadly, we regret that we’re not able to run a summer school in Ringwood this year). There are four distinct age groups which will run at the following times each day. (please note that due to current guidelines it is not possible to present any sharing/presentation to parents at the end of the week)

9.30am - 3.15pm Years 1-3 (minis) **please note that due to Government guidelines, we are unable to accept students who are currently in Reception or below - this is sadly non-negotiable.

10.00am - 3.45pm Years 4-6 (juniors/Footlights)

10.30am - 4.30pm Years 7-9 (intermediates/Limelights)

11.00am - 6.00pm Years 10 and above (seniors/Starlights/PDP)**please note, this senior group is not suitable for students who have no previous experience

Mini, Junior and Intermediate courses cost £150 and the Senior course costs £175

Numbers are strictly limited to a maximum of 15 per group, (the senior group will be split into two groups of a maximum of 12 based on students’ experience).  Students should attend the full five days and all groups will be working in well-ventilated spaces, or outside where possible, and have staggered breaks and lunchtimes to limit mixing. To view our Summer School COVID-19 policies and a link to the government advice for parents, please click HERE.

As usual at BIGLITTLE the courses will be staffed by a mixture of our highly professional and dedicated regular staff and some guest practitioners, including Nigel Richards working with the seniors, alumni Nick Hayes who has a string of first-class theatre credits to his name working alongside Sam Taylor-Martin, Kelly Knight, Colin Billing and others.

ALL bookings must be made online via the myBLTS portal.

To book your place at Summer School, please click HERE! N.B. If you were previously booked on our Annie or Legally Blonde summer school your booking WILL NOT have been automatically transferred.

Current BIGLITTLE families (including previous summer school attendees) have an initial exclusive priority booking period.  With the very limited spaces available we expect these to go fast, bookings will be opened up to the general public from Monday 13th July

We will run a waiting list in the event of courses being over-subscribed, and will look to run further courses should there be sufficient demand.

Full payment is due at the time of booking.

We’re looking forward very much to being “Back In The Room”!!
