BIGLITTLE Theatre School is delighted to present a stunning new production of The Secret Garden, the Tony Award-winning musical adaptation of Frances Hodgson Burnett's beloved novel. This enchanting production will take place at the Performing Arts Centre, East Way, Bournemouth, from Wednesday 19th to Saturday 22nd February 2025, with evening performances at 7:30pm and matinees on Thursday and Saturday at 3:00pm.
Set in the early 20th century, The Secret Garden follows the journey of Mary Lennox, a young girl orphaned and sent to live with her distant and grieving uncle in a somber Yorkshire manor. As Mary uncovers the mysteries of the house, she discovers a locked and forgotten garden. Her determination to revive its hidden beauty mirrors the healing and hope she brings to those around her. Featuring a hauntingly beautiful score by Lucy Simon and a book and lyrics by Pulitzer Prize-winner Marsha Norman, this musical is a moving celebration of resilience, love, and the restorative power of nature.
